Remember this?
Here she is so far. She'll look better once she's done and outlined in black. I think she's turning out pretty ok. That fire and pot have been a bitch! Lots of color changes. I purposly did it on orange so that it would look like a sunset. I didn't want to have to cross stitch the entire background in blue. But, I'm not so sure I like it. I should have just bought blue material but I thought I'd like the orange. Actually, it was supposed to be more of a yellow color. Should I do the background in blue?
Jacki thinks I should finish it and donate it to the silent auction for the hillbilly gatherin'. I could never get enough for it to compensate for all the hours I've put into it and I'm actually not sure anyone else would really appreciate it. I just happen to love old pin up girls.

She looks great so far and I like the orange background! Looks like a LOT of work. Good work Jodi.
That photo brings back a lot of good memories for me. Those cubs in the old house on Victory. You also brought home a baby deer right around that time, too.
Good memories. Love you, mom.
I know Jake, I think about that a lot. I always wished I could have raised you kids with all the critters my dad brought home when I was growing up. I'll never forget how mom came over dressed in a pretty pink outfit, picked up that fawn, and it pooped all over the front of her. She still loved it!
Oh my god, that cross stitch is AMAZING!! It really belongs in your new barn house, don't ya think? So glad to see you doing cross stitch again.
Anna is always asking me when I'm going to bring home another animal; haven't had the opportunity since our fawn a couple of years ago...although someone did call about a shrew the other day!
I'm sure Anna would be happy with a shrew!
I've REALLY enjoyed doing cross stitch again, I had no idea how much I missed it. On the prowl for my next project.
Well you should do a whole series of these pin-up cowgirls and hang 'em in your new house!
I LOVE that photo of you and the cubs. soooooo sweet.beingsli
oh boy,-----that was my verification word ! I wondered where it went !
I love the cross stitch! You are so talented! And PATIENT! I am so not patient at all. I like the orange background.
I love the cubs, too. My dad never would let us adopt wild animals (the only one we ever had was my pet ground squirrel, Chipper, that I bought for $0.50 from the Fish & Game Warden's son, Matt. They made Matt refund my fifty cents but I got to keep Chipper until he died... Good memories
