No matter which way I drive home when I go "over the hill", I love the trip. Here are a few things I've seen in the last few weeks that remind me that Life is Good...
I had to stick these in here. Adam wants to do some rollerblading this summer. He couldn't have nice, safe rollerblades. He had to have "aggressive" blades. They have a half moon cutout in the middle so he can do rails and jumps and all that dangerous stuff. This was the first day he had them and getting used to them. I'd love to send him to one of those camps where they learn agressive skiing and rollerblading. He's got such a natural ability for the more "extreme" sports.
And then there's this...
He went over to help his buddy Jake, clear boulders off their 10-acre property today. Can you see where his socks and shorts were? I haven't checked the shower, it's probably clogged with mud.

Wow!! Love your photos of the trees in bloom, the "hairy" bulls and the coyote! I can't believe you got that close to him! You guys do live in such a special place.
Wow, is right! That drive is your "Private Idaho". So, is that one coyote or more---the backrounds are all different. I'm glad you keep your camera with you at all times so that we all can share great things you see. I drive that sometimes and never see the things you do.
I see the Peregrines now have 3 chicks. yeaaaa
Kate I see that coyote almost every time I go out the back way. I think it's real used to people. He's always in the field across from Tertlings place with the BIG bulls. That was just one sighting mom, he kept moving around in the field.
I saw the chicks, so cute!
Yes....life is good.
Don't you just love the drive out here T? I'd so much rather drive the 4 miles up the hill (which people think is so far!) than 4 miles across town and all the stop lights and traffic.
Those are all the reasons I love it out here too. I see the coyote and the cows and the wildflowers but where's the llama! I love the llama!
Hey Boise! Yea, believe it or not, the llama wasn't in the field the day I took those pictures. I love him too, he looks really bossy and acts like he owns the place!
love the coyote pics! And the Highland cow (bull?) - what a nice commute! I'm jealous.
