Jacob Springs - Day 1
I promise I won't post day-by-day pictures of the progress. Well, maybe. However, on June 14th we took the first step on our new house. We now have footings...
Next week we should have a well, hopefully power, and they may start framing. As I stood and looked at the footings, I thought the house looked awfully small. It's 2,100 sq. ft. but at this point it looks small.

Houses always look small at the foundation stage. Once the framing goes up, it will look bigger and OK. I will love seeing the progress---keep filming. yeaaaa
Set amongst beautiful hills!!! Looks like y'all don't have the rocky soil like we do? I sure will enjoy watching the progress.
Chev, most of the soil up in this area is clay and it's awful. However up on our place, we've found that it's great soil that's more sandy than anything. I think it will be easy to plant and grow things!
Yeah, we WANT daily pictures, because we're all as excited as you are, and you've waited sooo long for this!
