Boise Mercury Spill...
I have to post this correction to the post I wrote below. It was not 4.05 millileters of mercury spilled - it was 0.45 millileters. Thank God - Boise would have had to move to California...

I was wondering why they weren't evacuating the State with that big spill! I too remember playing with mercury when I was young. We weren't lucky enough to have a jar of it like you did but we had fun with what we had. It is facinating stuff. I guess it's a miracle we survived! How silly!! Sheri
