I have my wonderful grandaughter Grace here but she's gone to a friends house to play for a few hours so I thought I'd take a few minutes and update our lives. I should be touching up baseboards but I'll do that after Grace goes home.
Boy have we been busy. Taking things to storage, staging the house and cleaning and painting. The photographer for the realtor came yesterday to take pictures for the virtual tour and the fliers so everything had to be perfect. Damn it takes a lot of work to be perfect but the house looked wonderful if I do say so myself!
Our realtor, Tyler, told me that the photographer told him that he sees hundreds of houses and ours was one of the nicest he's seen. He told Tyler that the colors we've used are wonderful. Let's hope that means it will sell! We're supposed to close on the property on Tuesday.
Here's our little slice of cheetgrass/bitterbrush/dirt - I mean heaven! If you click on the picture you can see it better. I stood on Cartwright Rd. taking these pictures. So in this first picture, our property starts at the very lower right hand side of the picture and goes up to that arrow.
Then from that first arrow it goes off to the southeast to this little arrow. And see that big green gate - it's ours!
Then over this mountain...
to this little arrow above the pond up yonder.
Sweet!
I'm hoping now that things will slow down some and I can get back to blogging.

Tyler Gilman from Group One is our realtor but I don't think the virtual tour will be up until Tuesday. I want to see the pictures too!
That is going to be a LOT OF WORK ! But someday it will sport a beautiful house with wrap around porch, a barn and animals. There will be trees, plants and YOU AND ELMER ! wow !
I know mom. Kind of hard to imagine right now but someday Elmer will have a beautiful yard like he's made here and everywhere else we've lived and we'll have a small little home where we can live until the kids put us in the chicken coop out back!
Wow!!! So cool! I am so excited to see what you guys do with it. It's a great piece of property.
It is a beautiful bit of Heaven, Jodi! I'm so excited for you guys!
Ooooh! Now I know who owns that little hill that's just perfect for sledding! I hope the owners don't get too upset when I leap the fence with my kids and slide down that perfect hill after the first snowfall. *wink*
Congrats, Jodi. You deserve it!
Of course not Jennifer! In fact, I'm sure Elmer will be out there with the 4 wheeler pulling them all back up once they slide down!
