Not only have I been a lazy blogger lately, I haven't even been reading my favorite blogs every day like I normally do. Enough of that! So, here's a few pictures off my camera...
Yesterday, I went and picked up the most gorgeous sterling silver bracelet that's been donated by Mike at Precious Metal Arts as an auction item for our Hillbilly Gathering. Special thanks to my blog friend Kristin at Boise Comma Idaho for hooking me up with Mike. He's such an awesome guy and I discovered that he also make my niece Kelly's wedding ring for her!
Lucy is loving being a squirrel. She and the cats spend hours peeking at each other through the windows. We have however, discovered a slight problem. She's discovered the warmth of Elmer's vehicle when he comes home and has taken to jumping up under his hood after he pulls into the driveway and has started chewing the insulation. Bad squirrel! We're hoping on the nights she doesn't come home to her warm and cozy bed on the porch, that she's not sleeping in his truck. Somehow, it just wouldn't be right after taking such good care of her to have her ground up when he starts his truck some morning...
And I just had to share this. Elmer is the cook in our family. He's really quite good. But the other night he made some french fries. Anybody hungry?

oh wow... um... those fries look goooo-ood!
I know! Replace the insulation in Elmer's truck with the fries!!! That'll teach her!
That first picture of the cat and the squirrel made me laugh out loud: that is one CROSS EYED cat!!
That bracelet is awesome! It's very similar to a ring I have that David refers to my "crack house" ring because he thinks it was made by someone who smoked too much crack. What does he know?? I think I just might need that bracelet to match my ring.
Seriously, that cat looks like Tim Conway.
Tim Conway? HA!
Guess Elmer was distracted. yuck
That bracelet is unusual----and will be a nice addition to the auction.
That stupid Lucy is going to get the tail shortened way up to her ears if she doesn't stop crawling into vehicles. Now tell them about the "hitchhiker" that she is !
I haven't been keeping up either. Sorry!
I love Lucy! How sweet!
Let me know when you want the soap for the donation. Are you sure you don't want me to make some that smell like mothballs and ass?
Those french fries look like those licorice coated maggoty worms thingies (real and freeze dried) that Izzy likes to eat. Ick.
Oh dear god. I love T.
Mike is great! How did you figure out he made my rings? :)
Well, when my friend got me a donation from "a guy named Mike who does custom jewelry downtown" I kind of thought it was the same person so I asked him. He loves you Kel and I even invited him to the Hillbilly Party!
Maybe I can get him to be my date. Ol is going to be in Yosemite :) -- See you soon!
