Bruce (our accountant and my brother-in-law) just pissed all over my parade. He said the price was way too high since the property is protected and can't be subdivided. (see previous post) He said $400,000 would be reasonable. God I hate reasonable people...

Wait. I'm confused. He just saved you $350,000 and you're mad?? You thought $750k was a great deal!! And you don't want to develope it anyway.

No, but since they're ASKING over $750,000 for it, I DOUBT they'd take $400,00 which would be MUCH more affordable! No, we wouldn't want to develop it. I'd like to build a business and then in 10-15 years sell it as a business. I'm gonna check out the Sunset article now...
There's more property out there. Offer the Sheperds 700k for their property! They'd take that for sure!
Too hard to get up there for business purposes. I think the thing that could make this piece work is 'cause it has such easy access to Boise.
I'm going to look at it this afternoon. Ival and I talked last night and if we could get the price down to what it should be (according to Bruce) we could probably do it.
