I just got on the Hidden Springs Facebook page and noticed a new post -

"Is there some kind of noise ordicance my neighbors are breaking by having a rooster?"

  1. Do you HAVE a rooster?? I thought you weren't allowed to. Although I guess those rules don't apply to the Hidden Springs Hillbillies. ;)

  2. Sheri, somehow I don't think that's going to happen!

    Kate, we have 3. And no, we're not allowed to.

  3. Someone in our neighborhood has a rooster. My neighbor across the street hates it. I've never bothered to tell her that it is illegal to have a rooster in city limits because we don't want her to turn it in. Why? Because we love listening to it. Let the rooster crow!! er-er-er-er-roo!!

  4. Well we've asked all of our close neighbors and they all love the roosters, but evidently, someone, somewhere feels differently!

  5. I posted it! I posted it on Heidi's behalf. I think she's just being nice saying she likes the roosters. If I had 2 toddlers sleeping in bedrooms 50ft. from your roosters that crow at 5am I'd be PISSED. ;o}

  6. Well, I think the roosters are going to be turned loose on the creek near Elmer's bosses house. BUT, we've asked Heidi so many times if the roosters bothered her and she says "no". BUT, Heidi wasn't the one who made the post on the HS Fb page!

  7. Roosters are LOUD. It could be somebody two blocks away. OR, maybe someone else in HS has roosters.
