HELP!

We have this "pig cooker" and while she's not the prettiest thing, she's cooks one mean pig (and chicken, and anything else we throw on there). We're starting some catering jobs - our first is a wedding for 300 people in August and we're getting ready to order some chefs jackets. BUT we need a name for our company. While I can think of all kinds of "hillbilly names", I'm just not sure that's what we really want or need if we're going to be serious about catering.

So, here's her picture for those of you who haven't seen her

And here's a few suggestions we've recieved. You can either vote for one of these so we can narrow it down, or give us new suggestions! We'll be running a contest about the end of the week where we'll ask you all to vote, and to the winner - well, we'll think of somethin' really nice to do for you!

Boise Basin BBQ
Black Barrel BBQ
Goodlife BBQ & Grill
Smoky Grill
Turner's BBQ Company
The Impeciable Pig
Barnyard Roasters
Hillbilly Grill

  2. I like Goodlife BBQ and Grill. Since you will be bbq ing other things than pigs.

  3. Hmmm. I do love The Impecable Pig, but as mom said, you'll be doing other things...

So given that, I like Boise Basin BBQ and Goodlife BBQ and Grill.

Barnyard Roasters sounds like you're going to just cook everything in the entire barnyard! ha!

Oh. Wait. You probably ARE. ;)

  5. Wow! You are a busy lady! This was my profession for 10 years before retiring to raise kids. If you have any questions, just ask!

My suggestion is that you stay away from anything Hillbilly. You want a name that is catchy and professional. This will allow you to cater to all sorts of events.

I like Boise Basin BBQ. I also thought up this one:
    Stack Rock BBQ and Catering

Whatever you decide...I know you will be fabulous!

  6. Well T, you're just full of surprises! We'll have lots of questions so I'll definately be talking to you!

I also like both names you like. I grew up on Alder Creek and even thought of Alder Creek BBQ and Catering Co.

Hmmmm. What about Dry Creek BBQ & Catering?

  9. I like Turner BBQ and Catering. Classy, clean and describes what exactly and who exactly you are. I like all the other's too though so any of them will be good. Good luck, you guy's will do well with this! I really like the Boise Basin one too.....but I think I would put BBQ & Catering. Just my opinion!
